Q: What is the cost of delivering the leased BMW?

A: Delivery is free in mainland UK. We can deliver your BMW to either a work or home addresses.

Q: What types of BMW lease agreements does ACL Automotive offer?

A: We specialise in both business and personal short-term BWM lease agreements.

Q: Who is responsible for insuring the vehicle?

A: You must organise and pay for insurance on the BMW. It must be comprehensive and cover the duration of the BWM lease contract. The insurer must be aware that the BMW is registered to the finance company and is on lease to you.

Q: How do I make my BMW lease payments?

A: All payment costs must be made through Direct Debit.

Q: Who is responsible for servicing the BMW and how often?

A: Most of our BMWs are brand new and do not require maintenance, however, our 3 & 6-month contracts include maintenance. Contracts for 12 months or longer do not include maintenance, making you responsible for all servicing needs. All servicing must be carried out according to the manufacturer's specifications, found in the vehicle handbook.

Q: Who supplies the new BMW?

A: All BMWs are directly supplied from the manufacturer through one of our delivery agents. We do not offer imported vehicles.

Q: How many keys will I receive?

A: All vehicles come with a complete set of keys, typically two keys.

Q: Can I use a private registration plate?

A: We do not permit private registration plates on our vehicles.

Q: What is the length of a lease agreement?

A: Our BMW lease agreements offer the best flexibility with options ranging from 6 to 18 months.

Q: How much is needed as a down payment for my Contract Hire agreement?

A: Your initial down payment can be as low as 1 or as high as 12 regular monthly rentals. The larger the initial down payment, the lower the regular monthly rental.

Q: Can I change the annual mileage allowance during the agreement?

A: No, the mileage allowance selected at the start of the agreement must remain fixed throughout the entire short-term vehicle lease.

Q: How will my new BMW be delivered?

A: Your new vehicle will be delivered by one of our delivery drivers.

Q: Does the BMW have a warranty?

A: Every new vehicle we lease comes with a full UK manufacturer's warranty.

Q: What should I do if my vehicle breaks down?

A: All our vehicles come with roadside assistance.

Q: Do I need to return the BMW at the end of the lease?

A: No, the vehicle will be collected from your work or home address at the end of the agreement.

Q: Is the vehicle's condition checked at the end of the lease?

A: Yes, the vehicle must be in a condition that is appropriate for its age and mileage covered at the end of the lease. The BVRLA provides guidance on what Fair Wear and Tear standards are for end-of-lease vehicles.

Q: Who should I notify in case of an accident?

A: If you are involved in an accident, you must notify your insurance company, who will then negotiate directly with the leasing company. Different insurers have different policies and procedures, so it is advisable to check directly with them.
